The Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers’ Marvin O’Dell is awarded the Will Rogers Award by the Academy of Western Artists for his best original western song, Don Edwards for President, on March 29th in Irving, TX.
2014 WRANGLER Award presented by the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum goes to Marvin O’Dell as Producer on the Award-winning Western Album, "Gotta Be a Cowgirl," by Mikki Daniel. Mikki is the youngest recipient to ever to receive the prestigious WRANGLER Horizon award and it is certainly a great honor for her first CD to receive this recognition from the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Both Marvin and Mikki traveled to Oklahoma City, OK in April to receive the awards.
