Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers a finalist for fifth year:
2015 WESTERN GROUP OF THE YEAR
The Rhythm Rustlers are honored to again be nominated for the award and to be in the stellar company of four other western music groups for this recognition. The award winner will be announced in November at the WMA Awards Show at the Kimo Theater in Albuquerque, NM.. The Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers is a showcase group specializing in family-oriented cowboy music to fit any event and venue. This award winning group features strong lead vocals and harmonies supported by outstanding musicianship that set this band apart from all the rest. Their sound is truly unique and sure to please audiences of every age!
The Rhythm Rustlers are pleased to welcome the newest band member, lead guitarist, Dan McCorison. Dan brings years of experience from his time in Nashville with his band, The Dusters. They were privileged to open shows for artists like Merle Haggard, Flatt and Scruggs, Linda Ronstadt, and Willie Nelson in large concert halls and stadiums. He not only plays, but sings, too, and has two CDs under his belt. Dan and his lovely wife, June, reside in Surprise, AZ. He is a great addition to the Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers and has already begun to capture the ears and hearts of RHRR fans!
MOMENTS to REMEMBER:
The Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers’ Marvin O’Dell is awarded the Will Rogers Award by the Academy of Western Artists for his best original western song, Don Edwards for President, on March 29th in Irving, TX.
2014 WRANGLER Award presented by the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum goes to Marvin O’Dell as Producer on the Award-winning Western Album, "Gotta Be a Cowgirl," by Mikki Daniel. Mikki is the youngest recipient to ever to receive the prestigious WRANGLER Horizon award and it is certainly a great honor for her first CD to receive this recognition from the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Both Marvin and Mikki traveled to Oklahoma City, OK in April to receive the awards.

Western Music Association (WMA) Awards 2014 COWBOY SWING ALBUM OF THE YEAR honors to the Red Hot Rhythm Rustlers for their CD - Too Hot to Handle Released in January 2014.
